Our home is one of four cottages in a row,
situated on the edge of the
heritage village of Montacute in South Somerset,
at the foot of Ham Hill.
A basic, simple yet fully functional family home,
located on a private cul-de-sac.
Small but pretty cottage with an outdoor sitting area overlooking the fields towards the former Abbey,
church and hills beyond.

Montacute is best known for its historic house and parkland with walks starting from our doorstep into
the village and to the woods, hills and countryside.
Dog-friendly property.

Set over 3 floors, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It has a quaint garden with a dining area in the back, where you can enjoy alfresco dining.

There is a garden shed for storing bikes.

It has one private parking space which is situated on a private shared driveway, (narrow entrance not suitable for long base cars), and additional on street parking.

Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. With lots of nature and mystical sites, steam trains and canals, great food scene and farm shops, orchards and hollow ways. This is cider country.

Places of interest are historic Bath and Wells, prehistoric Stonehenge and Avebury, Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, and the famous Jurassic Coast in Dorset,
renowned for fossil hunting.
Good train and coach links to Salisbury, Bristol and London.
